  • Led the technical evaluation of several ERP vendors, leading to an eventual selection of Oracle Applications 11i E-Business Suite. This technical evaluation was combined with several other functional evaluations to reach the selected vendor.
  • Served as project manager for a portion of the RICE team, focusing on extensions and interfaces.
  • Designed overall integration strategy for ERP integration to legacy systems and bolt-on applications.
  • Served as focal point on international team of developers (Dayton, Montreal, & India) to accomplish an aggressive schedule of object design, development and testing.

Relizon (Jun 2002 - April 2004)

Technical Lead/Architect, eCommerce

  • Unix, Oracle DBMS & Java/J2EE system using BEA Weblogic 6.1 application server and Weblogic Commerce Server 3.5 for commerce applications.
  • Lead architect on solution to allow customers to manage marketing campaigns of literature to targeted customers. I designed the database components and some of the java components needed. Mentored several junior developers on this project during implementation while I began working on the ERP implementation.

  • Served on a project team implementing a hard copy conversion system on a Unix platform, utilizing advanced client/server and communications services. Developed several system components, totaling well over 20,000 lines of C/C++ code. During the last year of the project, served as technical lead for the project, working with the team to produce 3 successful product releases during that time.
  • Provided technical support for a wide variety of systems that were implemented on MVS, Unix, and Windows operating systems. During the last 3 years of this assignment, I served as team lead, and also led a Continuous Improvement team that implemented several time saving utilities for the department which resulted in significant savings to the department.
  • Promotions: During my 7 years at Lexis-Nexis, I received 5 promotions and received 16 service awards for outstanding service to the company.
